Fenton- Funeral service for Givonna Cooper Burnett, 41, will be Saturday, June 28, 2008
At 11 AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Randall Chesson of Sulphur will officiate. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will begin on Friday from 4 to 9 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8 AM till time of service.

Givonna was a resident of Fenton, where she graduated from Fenton High School. She was a member of the Fenton Baptist Church. She died on Wednesday in Iowa after a yearlong battle with cancer. Givonna loved to cook and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Jace Bourque and his father, Brett Bourque of Iowa, and Rayne Burnett and her father Jeffery Burnett of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Myrick Cooper and wife Danna of Baton Rouge, and Roderick Cooper and wife Kim of Vinton; three sisters, Tirana Bertrand and husband Glen of DeRidder, Rosalind Doucet and husband John of Woodlawn, and Dorinda DeReese and husband LeRoy of Iowa; her companion Dwayne Franklin of Iowa, and a host of nieces and nephews.
