Georgia was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Dewaine, for thirty years until he passed away June 10, 1994. Georgia was a resident of Franklinton, Louisiana for many years until she moved to Reeves to be near her family. She was a school teacher for several years in Louisiana and Mississippi. Georgia loved oil painting, old gospel music, and arts and crafts. But, most of all, she adored her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kimberley Nanette Cauthron and husband, Wayne, of Reeves; six brothers, Bobby, Billy, Jim, Donald, Rawlin and Sammy Cauthron; one sister, Marilyn (Sissy) Vallejo; three grandchildren, D`Wayne Cauthron, Bethany Cauthron, and Ariel Cauthron Day and husband, Sean; and four great grandchildren, Reed Cauthron and Bowen, Jaxson and Avery Day.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Hazel Skeets Cauthron; her husband, Dewaine Seal; one brother, Grady Cauthron, and half sister, Nicki Gail Bond.
The family would like to express their sincerest thanks to Camelot Brookside Nursing Home of Jennings for the outstanding care given to Georgia over the last years.
