Obituary

Kinder-Homegoing services for Gayle Chambers Carrier, 72, will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 12 o'clock noon at Apostolic Temple of Lake Charles. Rev. Rick Treece and Rev. Jordan Anderson will officiate. Gayle will be peacefully laid to rest with military honors at Indian Village Cemetery in Kinder under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Apostolic Temple of Lake Charles from 10 a.m. until time of service.

Gayle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronald, for 49 years. She was Pentecostal by faith and very proud of her heritage. She was a devoted member of the Apostolic Temple in Lake Charles. Gayle served our country in the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam conflict. She loved and adored her family and absolutely loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed sewing, shopping with her daughters, worshiping at church, and cooking for her family, especially her grandchildren. Gayle will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Gayle's memory include her husband, Ronald Carrier of Lake Charles; her two daughters, Paula Conley and husband, Jim of Lake Charles and Krystal Fontenot and husband, Kendall of Westlake; her four brothers, Cecil Chambers and wife, Rita of Rogersville, TN, David Chambers and wife, Margie of Lake Charles, Frank Chambers and wife, Donna of LeBlanc, and Adam Chambers and wife, Leslie of Hammond; two sisters, Clara Fontenot and husband, Hamon and Faye Arabie and husband, Mitch, all of Kinder; her three grandchildren, Trevor and Cullen Conley and Arease Fontenot; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Ruth Chambers; one brother, Donald Chambers; and one sister, Rebecca Chambers.
