Garrett affectionately called Gary by those who knew him, passed away on July 23, 2024, at Cabrini Hospital after a hard-fought battle with heart issues. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Sandra dearly and was a faithful and devoted husband to her for 39 years. His favorite thing to do was to be by her side no matter what they were doing. His hobbies included playing golf and music. Gary was born in Michigan but lived in many different places due to his father serving in the Navy. He graduated high school in Hawaii. Gary served in the Army for 8 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He worked for the Rapides Parish Sherriff's Office for over 20 years as a Sergeant and later became a detective. Gary will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Gary's memory include his wife, Sandra Gail Bradford; two daughters, Brooke Frazier and husband Rick, and Ashley Plauche and husband Jody; six brothers, Gregory, David, Douglas, Jack, Jon, and Geoffrey Bradford, one sister, Christy Bradford; and two granddaughters that he dearly adored, Abigail and Claire Plauche.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald (Rose) Bradford and Nancy (Arch) McCulloch.
