Obituary

A Homegoing Service for Franklin "Dean" Fish, age 50, will be held at Apostolic Temple of Lake Charles on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 7 p.m. Rev. Rick Treece will officiate and Kay Hebert will deliver the eulogy.
The family will receive visitors at Apostolic Temple on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Dean never met a stranger. He was a "friend to the friendless" and always willing to help anyone in need. He loved family, gospel music and was a die-hard Saints fan. He loved the Word of God and enjoyed discussing scripture. Dean graduated from Oakdale High School and attended Christian Life College in Stockton, CA, studying music. He played the trumpet and drums. The dedication, love and support of his church family at Apostolic Temple continued to be a source of deep appreciation for Dean.
Those left to cherish Dean's memory include his mother, Evelyn Fish, of Iowa; two brothers-James D. Fish and wife, Lorie, of Moss Bluff and Darryell Fish of Kinder; three sisters-Cherri Laughlin and husband, Tony, of Elton, Paula Faul and husband, David, of Iowa, and "adopted" sister, Kay Hebert of Elton; and, numerous nieces, nephews and godchild, Cameron Laughlin, all who lovingly referred to him as "Uncle Deano".
Dean is preceded in death by his father, Franklin Dolvin Fish.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery in Fort Polk. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family to help with final expenses.
