Reeves-Celebration of Life services honoring Frank A. Green, 71, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, December 10, 2025, at Creel Memorial Chapel in Reeves, Louisiana. Rev. Bro. Don Barrett will officiate. Frank will be laid to rest at Creel Cemetery in Reeves immediately following his service.

Frank's family will receive friends and visitors at Creel Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 11 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Frank's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder.

Frank A. Green, a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born on Thursday, November 11, 1954, to the union of Stevens Airhart Green and Evelyn Jewel Marcantel in DeQuincy, Louisiana. Frank grew up in Seneca, Illinois, where he loved to run track and graduated from Seneca High School in 1972. Later in life, he worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet, Illinois before relocating to Louisiana where he worked as an Equipment Operator for Tanner Industries in Fort Polk, Louisiana.  He enjoyed listening to rock and roll and reading books by Louis L'amore. Frank will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Frank is survived by his brothers, Norman and Martha Harris Green of Tennessee, and Norvin and Jean Morrow Green of Arkansas; sisters, Vera and Norman Rasmussen of Washington and Karla Stracener of Louisiana; his children-son, Jeremy and wife Shelly, and daughter, Jessica of Illinois; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Stevens Airhart and Evelyn Jewel Marcantel Green; brother, Newton Green; ex-wife, Sue Odom Carrier; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Frank's family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Creel Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
