Kinder-Funeral service for Florencio "Flo" Valdez III, 48, was held Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash officiated. Burial followed in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
Florencio, affectionately known as
"Flo", was a Texas native and current resident of Kinder. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He had a great sense of humor and was a friend to all. Flo will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his devoted wife, Jacquline Fontenot Valdez, of Kinder; one daughter, Jazmin Valdez and husband, Cesar, of New Braunfels, TX; his parents, Florencio Valdez, Jr. and Sylvia Hernandez of Pearsall, TX; one brother, Jarrett Valdez of Pearsall, TX; three sisters, Melissa Rios, Clarissa Valdez, and Terissa Valdez, all of Pearsall, TX; and four grandchildren.
Flo was preceded in death by his grandparents, Florencio R. Valdez and Josefa M. Valdez; and one grandson, Caden Craft.
