Faron Bruce Ware, affectionately called Bruce by all who knew him, was born on February 5, 1959, in Oakdale, Louisiana, and passed away peacefully at his home at 10 o'clock p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Bruce spent much of his life working both offshore and, in the woods, cutting trees. He loved feeding his cats, watching his hummingbirds, cheering on LSU, listening to his radio all day long, and playing dominoes with his brothers Preyfus and Bobby, and sometimes his sister Nelda-he always won. More than anything, Bruce will be remembered for his incredible personality-he had a gift for making anyone laugh and bringing joy into every room he entered. He was loved and adored by any and all doctors and nurses that he came into contact with. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Those left to cherish Bruce's memory include his son, Faron Brent Ware and wife Lydia Ware, his daughter, Brandie Lynn Ware; six grandchildren: Colby, Dylan, Megan, and Liam Ware Shelby Barnett, and Nickey Duvall, three great grandchildren, Nash Duvall, Atticus Miller, and Sunny Barnett; two brothers, Preyfus Ware and wife Brenda, and Bobby Ware and wife Janet, four sisters, Linda McDaniel, Nelda Ware and companion Roy Dubroc, Margie Nichols and husband Rick, and Nettie Sue Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents, Edna Mae "Big Momma" and Alfred "Pretty Daddy" Ware; and his four brothers Paul, Ben Roy, Frank James, and Alfred Ware Jr.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Heath Ware, Webster McDaniel, Colby Ware, Dylan Ware, Ray Ware, and Shane Ware.
Bruce's family would like to extend a very special thank you to Brighton Bridge Hospice nurses Anna Doyle and Jennifer Henry, they were greatly appreciated by Bruce.
