Kinder-Funeral service for Fae E. Welch, 74, will be held Sunday, April 19, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Donl Langley will officiate. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 4-9 p.m. and will continue visitation on Saturday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Fae was a resident of Ragley. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a successful saleswoman for many years. She was also an ordained minister and would often stop whatever she was doing to pray for someone in need. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She worked hard to provide for her family over the years. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Clyde Welch III and wife, Veronica, of Reeves; two daughters, Fae Harrison and husband, Charles, and Melanie Frith and husband, Chancy, all of Reeves; one brother, John Hopson and wife, Evelyn, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, with 2 more "on the way."
Fae is preceded in death by her parents, John Hopson and Ruby Steele; and, one sister, Judy Randall.
