Fenton- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Ezora Fontenot Richard, 96, will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 2p.m. in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. Father Augustin Mulanjany will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be in Ardoin Funeral Home in Kinder Tuesday from 4pm-9pm with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Richard was a resident of Fenton and member of the Ladies Altar Society She enjoyed gardening and raised several foster children. Mrs. Richard passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 in a Kinder Care Center.
Survivors include two sons, Pete Martin & wife Pat of Lake Charles, Joseph Martin of Lake Charles; two step sons, Lionel Richard & wife Emma of Shreveport, Larry Richard and wife Sharon of Lake Charles; step daughter, Mary Nell Richard Miller and husband Luther of Fenton; six grandchildren, Kammy Williams, Garrick, Greg, T.J., Paige Martin, Allison Nicholson; eight step grandchildren, Lydia Bertrand, Theresa and Montie Landry, Tina Trahan, Johnny, Brian, Chad, Dion Richard; 17 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Fontenot of Kinder & Wilford Fontenot of Lake Chalres; two sisters, Isabella Buller of Lake Charles & Edoil VanBasker of Kinder.
Preceded in death by her husband, Eurick Richard; son, Murray Martin; her parents and 5 brothers.
