It is with great sadness that the family of Exa O'Rear Head, age 89, announce her passing on June 11, 2015. A Graveside Service will be held at Elizabeth Memorial Cemetery in Branch on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 2 p.m. and a Memorial Service will be held at Reeves Bible Church on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate both services. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Exa was a devoted wife of 40 years to her husband, Gilbert, prior to his passing away. She was also a loving mother and grandmother. She loved fishing and gardening, quilting, crocheting, and knitting. She attended Reeves Bible Church for the past 8 years. Exa loved spending time with her family. She liked to have fun and she had a great sense of humor. She worked hard over the years to take care of her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Exa's memory include her two sons-Terry Head and wife, Joan, of Scott, and Eddie Head and wife, Cindy, of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Linda H. McClelland and husband, Jerry, of Ragley; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
Exa is preceded in death by her parents, Lonzy and Lillie O'Rear; her husband, Gilbert Head; and one sister, Lois Cloyteal O. Rickard.
