Obituary
Kinder-Funeral service for Evon Parker, 72, will be held Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Memorial Gardens at Camp Pearl under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Thursday, March 6th from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Peggy Perkins Kennedy of Reeves; her lifelong friend, Ray Blalock of DeRidder; one sister, Maureen Young and husband, Wayne of Reeves; 5 grandchildren-Anthony, Brandon, Ty, Cheyenne and Sadie; 4 great grandchildren-Abby, Logan, Kash and Christian; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Evon is preceded in death by her parents, Lou and Bea Parker and her brother, Billy Parker.
