Kinder-Homegoing Services for Everette Parker, 85, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 2, 2019 at LeBlanc Pentecostal Church. Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate. Burial will follow at Creel Memorial Gardens under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at LeBlanc Pentecostal Church from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2019. Visitation will resume Monday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Everette was a loving husband, father, brother, and a friend to all. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Shirley, for 37 years. He loved to minister to people all while spreading the word of God. Everette was a prayer warrior and believed in the power of prayer. He was a singer whom often led the church choir at LeBlanc Pentecostal Church. Everette enjoyed playing his guitar, gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with his dog, Casper. He would help anyone in need at any given time. He worked as a carpenter for many years, as well as, a Janitor for Reeves High School. Many years ago, Everette also worked at Walmart in Kinder as an overnight maintenance tech and then transferred to Oakdale Walmart as a sporting goods clerk. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Everette's memory include his wife, Shirley Parker of LeBlanc; one son, Jeremiah Bang of LeBlanc; and three sisters, Sally Parker of Moss Bluff, Emma Lou Stewart and husband, Norman, of Highlands, TX, and Martha Williams and husband, Harold, of Livingston, TX.

Everette is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Effie Parker; two brothers, Max and Jimmy Parker; and one sister, Robbie Cushing.
