Elton-Funeral service for Evelyn Langley Alfaro, 69, will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Bro. Jonathan Cernek will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 3-10 p.m., with a singing service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a devoted wife to Raul, Sr. for 47 years. She worked for Coushatta Casino in table games for twenty-two years. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, making clothes for her grandchildren, and being with her family.
Those left to cherish Evelyn's memory include her husband, Raul Alfaro, Sr.; sons, Raul Alfaro, Jr. and Christopher Alfaro both of Elton; daughters, Lucia Alfaro and Lauren Alfaro both of Elton; sisters, Rosalene Medford and Trudy Langley both of Elton; and seven grandchildren, Caleb Alfaro, Sophia Alfaro, Marisa Moreno, Christian Moreno, Travis Marcantel, Tyler Fontenot, and Zackery Fontenot.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Lorena and Joe Langley; brothers, Ronald Langley, Clement Langley, and Paul Langley; and sister, Marilyn Langley.
