Kinder-Funeral service for Evelyn Viola Alexander, age 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Rod Nesmith will officiate. Burial will follow in Creel Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors from 11-2 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Reeves and Kinder. She also was a lifelong member of Grace Community Church. Evelyn was a devoted wife, sister and aunt. She was a woman of strong faith and devoted to the Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Evelyn's memory include two sisters; Audrey L. Alexander of Kinder and Verdois Savoy of Lumberton, TX; three nieces, Karen Hughes and husband, Carlos, Amber Landry and husband, Shane, and Eva Landry all of Lumberton, TX.; one nephew, Colt Landry of Lumberton, TX.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents Cody and Lilly Alexander; and husband, Wilbur Guilliot.
