Kinder-Funeral service for Mr. Evans "Buck" Guillory, Jr., 74, will be held Wednesday,
March 23, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Don Willis and Rev. E.J. McCann will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March Evans "Buck" Guillory, Jr.
22, 2011 from 3 pm to 9 pm in Ardoin Funeral Home and will continue Wednesday at 8 am until time of service.
Mr. Evans was a resident of Kinder/Buller Settlement . He was a member of Fenton
Baptist Church. He served our country in the US Marine Reserves. Evans worked for over 40 years as a heavy equipment operator for Local 406. He was a devoted husband for more than 51 years; a loving Dad and Grandfather. He loved the outdoors, fishing and traveling. He was a friend to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Hamilton Guillory, son, Derek Guillory of Kinder; daughter, Robin Guillory and husband, Richard of Kinder; brothers, Melvyn Guillory of Lake Charles, Richard Guillory and wife, Judy of Sulphur; sister, Willie Mae McMullen of Sulphur ;three grandchildren, Kyle Guillory, Kaleb Guillory, Danelle Langley and one great grandchild, Kamron Langley.
Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Evans Guillory, Sr. and brother, Donald Guillory .
