Elton- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Laurence (Evana) Langley, 82, will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church in Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton Wednesday from 6pm with a rosary at 7pm and will remain open until time of service.
Mrs. Langley was a resident of Elton. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed fishing, camping, & cooking. Mrs. Langley passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in her residence.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Lawrence Langley of Elton; three sister-in-laws, Esyleta Langley of Oberlin, Thilda Manuel of Grand Lake, & Pearl LaFleur of Elton; a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Mrs. Langley is preceded in death by her parents, Feus & Lourice Sonnier; two sisters, Lillian Lafleur & Nell Newman.
