Oakdale- Graveside services for Evana Deshotel, 80, will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Deshotel Cemetery in Oakdale. Rev. Greg Willis will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/ Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin / Allen Parish Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Evana was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed French music, great food, and dancing. She had a close personal relationship with God and was very proud of her Catholic heritage.
Those left to cherish Evana's memory include, one daughter, Jennifer Denning and her husband, Mike; four grandsons, Darrell Deshotel and wife, Katherine, Derrick Deshotel and wife, Jessica, Derrian Deshotel, and Devin Willis and wife, Autumn; and 9 great grandchildren, Kassidy, Kade, Karleigh, Bryce, Madeline, Nathan, Shealee, Zander, and Ryland; two brothers, Glenn Hebert and wife, Paula,  and James Hebert and wife, Barbara; one sister, Mary Christian and husband, James.
Evana is preceded in death by her parents, Alexon Hebert and Essie Deshotel; husband, Jack Deshotel; two sons, Darrell Deshotel and Tony Deshotel; one daughter, Linda Deshotel; and one grandson, Dylan Deshotel.
