Kinder-Funeral service for Eunice Joy Deshotel, 67, will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10AM in Green Oak Bible Church. Rev. Jerry Long will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March, 9, 2011 in Green Oak Bible Church
from 10AM-9PM and will continue on Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 8AM until time of service.
Eunice was a resident of Kinder. She was a member of Green Oak Bible Church
and was a very active member of Camp Pearl Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired school bus driver, as well. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Eunice was loved and respected by everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence Deshotel of Kinder; one son, Scott Deshotel and wife, Rebecca of Kinder; one daughter, Denise Chapman of Kinder; one brother, Dale Brobst and wife, Ellen of Necedah, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Kayla Courville and husband, Aaron, Kristie Deshotel, and Joshua Deshotel; and, one great grandchild, Marley Courville.
Eunice was preceded in death by her father, Mefford Brobst, her mother, Viola Brobst, and son, Keith Deshotel.
