Jennings-Funeral service will be held for Ethel Benoit, age 57, on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 10am in St. Paul Catholic Church at Elton. Father Marshall Boulet and Deacon John Eaves will officiate the service. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
The family will receive visitors beginning on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 5-9pm at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8am until time of service.
Ethel was a devoted Catholic for her whole life and prayed the rosary faithfully. She enjoyed puzzle books and her bingo games. She was a loving mom, wife,
aunt and great aunt; her love will be missed by all.
Survivors include her mom, Agnes G. Guidry of Jennings; three sisters, Mary Person and husband Mark of Jennings, Margaret Benoit and husband Jr. of Jennings, Patricia Schexnider and husband Ray of Lacassine; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ethel was preceded in death by her husband, Anitius Benoit Sr.; her dad, Paul Guidry; and two sons, John and Joseph Benoit.
