Kinder-Funeral service for Esther Mary Fontenot, 70, will be held Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Esther was a loving mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved crafting-especially crochet, plastic canvas, basket-weaving, and cross-stich.
She was a great cook and loved spending time with her family and friends. Esther will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Esther's memory include her two sons, Jerry Fontenot and wife, Shellie, and Jody Fontenot and wife, Erin, all of Reeves; one daughter, Regena Cutting and husband, McCoy, of Reeves; one brother, Tim Granger and wife, Janet, of Reeves; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Rena Granger; her husband, Joseph Fontenot; and her son, Jeffery Scott Fontenot.
