Oakdale-Eric Lenton Christian 58, of Sulphur passed away peacefully at his residence on June 6, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Eric's funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Oakdale, Rev. Ferran Bertrand will officiate. The family will receive visitors on Sunday morning from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Hampton Cemetery in Elizabeth under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.
Eric was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was a kind and caring person and loved to ride his motorcycle. In his well deserved retirement, he loved gardening and would "piddle around" and grow beautiful vegetables. He loved reading books and spending quality time with his family.  Eric dearly loved and adored his two sons, Joey and Logan.  He also had a profound love for babies. Eric will be unconditionally loved and forever missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Eric's memory include his mother Carolyn Christian of Elizabeth, his two sons, Joey Christian and Logan Christian both of Sulphur, his two sisters, Dana Melder and husband, Mike of Elizabeth and Carol Edwards and husband Mike, of Carlyss; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Lenton Christian.
