In loving memory of Emmett "Yvonne" LaFleur, born August 15, 1930, in
Elton, La.
Yvonne went to be with our Lord and Savior surrounded by family and friends
on September 14, 2011 at the age of 81.
Funeral service for Emmett LaFleur will be held September 18, 2011, at 2pm
in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jerry Johnson will officiate. Final resting place
will follow in Sugartown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 6-8pm in Ardoin
Funeral Home and continue Sunday at 8am until time of service.
Her greatest joy in life was raising her four children and spending time with
them. Not only did she raise four of her own children, she also raised three beautiful
and sweet grandchildren; Russell, Danielle and John LaFleur. She loved all of her
grandchildren and great grandchildren as well.
She is survived by her brother; David Hollier from Baton Rouge; sister, Barbara
Hollier of Glenmora; two children, Vicki Lazrine and husband Steve from Conroe, Tx.,
Carla Adams and husband James from Conroe, Tx.; grandchildren, David and Nicole
Adams, Kama , Corey, and Cody Lazrine, and Russell , Danielle, and John
LaFleur; and fourteen great grandchildren as well as many friends,
. She is preceded in death by her parents; father, Antonio Hollier of Opelousas,
La., mother, Gladys Hollier Wagner of Rayne, La.; her loving husband of 47 years
Leo LaFleur; her two sons, Jody and Tony LaFleur.
Honorary Pallbearers are James Adams, Steve Lazrine, David Adams, Corey
Lazrine, Cody Lazrine, and John LaFleur.
