Kinder- Emma Gean McKinney, 78, of Ragley, passed away October 21, 2008 in her home with her family at her side.
Born July 6, 1930 in Hattiesburg, Miss. to Henry and Minnie Hodges. She made her home in Louisiana as a new bride in 1949. She was a wonderful quilter and seamstress, crafter and cook. She was a lifetime member of Post 10665 VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Bob Kibodeaux, and her 2nd husband Charles McKinney and daughter Linda Bain. Left to cherish her memory are daughters, Gloria Kibodeaux of Ragley, and Jaquie Cooper (Alex) of Kinder; two sons, Robert Kibodeaux (Karen) of Kinder, and Charles McKinney (Raven) of Ragley; three brothers, Tynes Hodges and Jack Hodges of Gordon, GA., and Elbert Hodges of Damby, TX; two sisters, Lena Lewis of Shreveport and Eloise Hartfield of Hattiesburg, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at 1 PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Words of comfort may be left for the family at
