Kinder- Funeral service for Elton "E-Town" Bushnell Fontenot, 21, will be held Friday, December 29, 2006 at 11 a.m. in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin Thursday, December 28, 2006 from 3.p.m. to 10 p.m. and will continue Friday from 8 a.m. until the time of service.
Mr. Fontenot died Thursday, December 21, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. in an automobile accident in Lake Charles. He was a resident of Kinder and a graduate of Kinder High School. He was employed by the Coushatta Casino Resort.
He is survived by his parents, Herbert and Viola Fontenot of Kinder; two brothers, Reginald Paul Fontenot of Shreveport, and Marshal Jude Fontenot of Elton; one sister, Rosemary Fontenot of Kinder, four nephews and one niece.
Elton loved to play basketball and spend time with his friends. He loved to take pictures of his friends and himself. He will be greatly missed. Words of comfort may be left for the family at www.ardoinfuneralhome.com.
