Mr. Elmer Langley, 89, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in his residence. He loved gardening and raising calves.
Survivors include two sons, Ted Langley & Mark Langley both of Lake Charles; two daughters, Anna McRee of Leesville & Joy Mason of Alvin, TX; one brother, Harold Langley Sr. of Kinder; two sisters, Rena Fontenot & Una Fontenot both from Kinder; 6 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his darling wife, Ruth Anna Bushnell Langley; parents, Columbus & Alice Langley; one brother, Hiram Langley; two sisters, Ola Mae Deshotel Chriss & Leora Miller.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 10am in Indian Village Pentecostal Church. Rev. Terry Bushnell will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Indian Village Pentecostal Church Thursday from 5pm-9pm and will continue Friday at 8am until time of service.
