Mrs. Elma Reed

Elton-Funeral service for Mrs. Elma Reed, 84, will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at 11:00am in Ardoin Funeral Home Chapel of Elton, Louisiana. Brother Don DuPlechian will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Tuesday in Ardoin Funeral Home from12 noon-9pm and will continue Wednesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Reed was a lifelong resident of Elton. She was proceeded in death by a son, Ray Stroder, a great grand-daughter, Danae Lafleur, a grandson, Timothy Lafleur, and a great grandson, Levi Savant, all who passed away in 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Canny J. Reed; three daughters, Rita Lafleur of Elton, Peggy Lafleur and husband, Eddie, of Buna, Texas, and Wanda Hebert of Oberlin; a sister, Carrie Ware of Mamou; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 13 great-great grandchildren.
