Ella Mae Jackson Smith was a life long member of Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. She attended Mass faithfully until her health began to fail her. Mae, as she was affectionately known, was a special person to all who knew her. She never met a stranger and always had time for you. Her caring and compassion for others was always present. She never backed down from a challenge; always giving her best. Mae was an encourager, forgave easily, and helped you see the other view of your situation. She always referred to her children & grandchildren as her greatest blessings in her life. She was an unwavering light in their lives and felt blessed to be their mother and grandmother. Mae loved her family and friends beyond measure. She touched many lives and made a difference in all their lives. She had a heart of gold.

Mae's favorite quote was of Mother Teresa:

"Speak tenderly to them. Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Always have a cheerful smile. Don't only give your care, but give your heart as well."

Our memories and love for her will last forever. We Love You
