Elton- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Ella L. Duplichan, 87, will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church. Father Maxwell Okolie & Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11am-9pm with a rosary at 6:30pm. Visitation will continue Wednesday at 8am, with a rosary at 9am, until time of service.
Mrs. Duplichan was a resident of Elton, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Ladies Altar Society. She passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 in Jasper Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, James S. Duplichan of Basile, William Duplichan of Mauriceville, & Robert L. Duplichan of Burkeville, TX; brother, Lawrence Langley of Elton; two sisters, Pearl LaFleur of Elton & Thilda Manuel of Grand Lake; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild.
Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Duplichan; parents, Sedonia & James Langley; brothers, Allie Langley & Leston Langley; sisters, Hazel Sonnier & Esther Young.
