Oakdale-Celebration of Life services honoring Elizabeth Selise Willis, 77, will be held at 2 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Occupy #2 Baptist Church in Pitkin. Rev. William Merkelz will officiate. Elizabeth will be laid to rest at Occupy #2 Cemetery in Pitkin immediately following her services.
Elizabeth's family will receive friends and visitors at Occupy #2 Baptist Church in Pitkin on Monday morning, July 15, 2024, from 11 o'clock a.m. until time of service on Tuesday afternoon, July 16, 2024. All of Elizabeth's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.
Elizabeth was a very special and loving wife, mother, grandmother. She adored her family dearly and loved spending time with them. Elizabeth attended Occupy #2 Baptist Church in Pitkin where she loved to sing, worship, and serve the Lord. She was a hard worker and worked for 20 plus years at Pitkin School to provide for her family. Elizabeth enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. She also loved and adored her fur babies and loved a good cold Diet Coke. Elizabeth was a very kind and caring person and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.
Those left to cherish Elizabeth's memory include one son, Lloyd Willis Jr., and wife Monica, one daughter, Tammy Cloud and husband Doug; two brothers, Donald and Johnny Perkins, one sister, Carolyn Perkins; ten grandchildren, Angel Henry and husband Lance, Aaron Willis and wife Tori, Zachary Willis and wife Amber, Samantha Willis, Crystal Smith and husband Gary, Kasie Willis and wife Misty, Kaleb Willis, Hunter Willis, Timmy Willis and wife Whitney, and Timothy Johnson and wife Meagan, twenty-three great grandchildren; fur babies, Jasmine, Rebel, Gidget, Elsa Rose, Troubles and Tom; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Willis Sr.; her parents, Clyde, and Ina Perkins; two sons, Timmy, and Tommy Willis; two brothers, Clyde Jr., and Delta Perkins, one sister, Clydell Viscardis; one granddaughter, Shanna Brooke Willis; and one great grandson, Dakota Lloyd Willis.
