Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Pitts Odom, 82, will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Kinder Bible Church. Rev. Robert Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Kinder Bible Church Monday from 4pm-8pm and will continue Tuesday at 8am until time of service.
Mrs. Odom was a native & resident of Kinder. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a faithful Christian. Mrs. Odom passed away Saturday, November 15, 2008.
Survivors include four sons, Dick Odom, Bill Odom, Bob Odom & wife Pat, John P. Odom & wife Tracey all of Kinder; two daughters, Linda Kennard & husband Joel Johnson of Memphis, TN, Jane Ortego & husband Donnie of Kinder; two sisters, Sally Fournet & Billy Buck both of Kinder; 12 grandchildren & 23 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ray Bert Odom; parents, Loyd & Lenora Pitts.
