Kinder-Funeral Services for Elizabeth "Liz" Ann Bertrand, 50, will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Rick Julian will officiate.  The family has arranged for cremation following the funeral service. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. until time of service.

Liz was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a devoted wife to her husband, John, for thirty-three years. She dearly loved her family and was happiest when they were around. Liz enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She cooked everything well her family says. She loved flowers of all kinds and yellow roses were her absolute favorite. Liz was a woman of strong faith and very proud of her catholic heritage. She loved elderly people and children and was a very kind generous person. Liz will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Liz's memory include her father, Joseph Granger; husband, John C. Bertrand, Jr.; one daughter, Courtney Richard; two sons, Alex Granger and Brandon Granger and wife, Shelby; three brothers, Morgan Granger, Gladue Granger and Chris Eason; one sister, Bobbie Holland; four Godchildren, Abagail Holland, Tristain Holland, Hayden Eason and Collin Beard; and six grandchildren, D'marcus Richard, Erica Eason, Myah Granger, Ava Granger, Karter Richard and Mataya Granger.

Liz is preceded in death by her mother, Judy Granger; one brother, Paul Granger; and one nephew, Jacob Granger.
