Elton-Services of Remembrance honoring Elijah “Eli” Sage LeJeune, 15, will be held at 2 o’clock p.m. on Thursday afternoon, January 8, 2026, at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton, LA. Rev. Caleb Semian will officiate. Eli’s family will host private inurnment services in his memory at a future date.

Eli’s family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton, LA on Thursday morning, January 8, 2026, from 11 o’clock a.m. until time of service. All of Eli’s arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Eli was a loving son, brother, grandson, boyfriend, and friend. He was an eighth-grade student at Champ Cooper Jr. High School in Ponchatoula, LA where he was an active member of the Garden Club. He was a very bright, vibrant, and intelligent child who was a complete joy to be around. Eli had a giant heart and loved to make people laugh. Anyone who met him, was instantly magnified to him. He loved to spend time with his family and had a profound love for animals. Eli will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Eli’s memory include his mom, Darlene Wooley, of Ponchatoula, LA, his dad, Jason LeJeune, of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Javonte, Jason Jr., and Leopold LeJeune, one sister, Savannah Martin; three cousins, Kelsey and Marcus LeJeune, and Marcus Arvie; his girlfriend, Kaia Faith; his grandparents, and a host of extended family members and friends.

Eli is preceded in death by one uncle, Marcus LeJeune; his paternal grandmother, Penny Joubert; and his maternal grandfather, Darrel LeBlanc.
