Kinder-A Mass of Christian Burial for Elaine Marie Sevin Peloquin, 75, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2021 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Rev. Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service with the Holy Rosary being prayed at 10 a.m.

Elaine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Durell Peloquin, Sr. for forty-three years until his passing in October of 2007. Elaine was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for over fifty years, as well as a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed crabbing, shrimping and walking on the beach in Grand Isle. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elaine was a loving person with outstanding faith and valued family time, especially during the holidays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish Elaine's memory include her three sons, Durell Peloquin, Jr. of Kinder, Pat Peloquin and wife, Beth, of Rosenburg, TX and Chad Peloquin and wife, Tammy, of Kinder; one daughter, Natalie Montou and husband, Rick, of Oberlin; one brother, Robert "Bobby" Sevin, Jr. and wife, Joyce, of Lafayette; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Durell Peloquin, Sr.; parents, Preston "Pete" Adams and Augusta "Gus" Adams; and one brother, Preston "Bimbo" Adams, Jr.
