Oakdale-Funeral services for EdLois Perkins Stalsby, 89, will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale. Rev. Allen Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 10 a.m. until time of service.

EdLois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Henry, for seventy-one years. From her marriage she had two sons, Charles and Ronald. EdLois loved to cook, crochet and most importantly spend time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Those left to cherish EdLois' memory include her husband, Henry Stalsby; one son, Charles Stalsby and wife, Joann; one daughter-in-law, Deanna Stalbsy; five grandchildren, Kayla Brown, Todd Stalbsy and wife, Daisy, Derrick Stalbsy and wife, Mallory, Wendy Hassell and husband, Tony, and Curt Stalbsy and wife, Kim; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

EdLois is preceded in death by her parents, L.E. and Ida Johnson Perkins; one son, Ronald Stalsby; four brothers; and ten sisters.

The family would like to say a special thanks to EdLois' "special nieces", Sandra Kay and Debbie for taking care of their aunt whether it was visiting her at the nursing home, paying her bills or just being there for her.
