Elton- Celebration of Life services honoring Dylon Kirk Fontenot, 24, will be held at 10 o'clock a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Indian Bible Church in Elton. Rev. John Cernek will officiate. Dylon's family will host a private inurnment service in his memory at a future date.

Dylon's family will receive friends and visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Monday evening, March 4, 2024, from 5-9 o'clock p.m. Dylon's visitation will resume at Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton on Tuesday morning, March 5, 2024, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Dylon's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton.

Dylon was a loving son, brother, father, and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Dylon also enjoyed working on cars with his grandfather, Kenneth. He was a gifted musician where playing the guitar and singing was his passion. Dylon's favorite past times were spending time with his family and friends, cooking, and especially, making everyone laugh. He loved his "sweet tea'' and drank it all the time. Dylon was a loving a devoted friend and will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Dylon's memory include his mother, Kristy Wilson of Elton, his father, Donald Fontenot, Jr. and wife, Holly of Eunice, LA; two daughters, Hayzly and Aubrey Fontenot of Covington, LA; two brothers, Hunter Marcantel of Elton, LA and Brodi Walker of Eunice, LA; two sisters, Mallori Fontenot and Jordyn Mahan, both of Eunice, LA; his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Wilson of Elton, LA; his paternal grandmother, Sheila Fontenot of Eunice, LA; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.

Dylon is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Patricia Wilson and his paternal grandfather, Donald Fontenot, Sr.
