Kinder-An evening funeral service for Dustin James Jenkins, 22, will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Mike Paxson will officiate. Burial will follow in West Monroe.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, from 5 p.m. until time of service.
Dustin was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was hard-working and very active in his church. He loved to hunt, fish, and sing along to music. He was known to always have a smile on his face. Dustin will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Dustin's memory include his parents, Sharon and Leonard Jenkins of Kinder; his wife, Amber Jenkins of West Monroe; two sons, Brantly Pate of Elton and Sawyer Jenkins of West Monroe; one brother, Christopher Thibodeaux of West Monroe; two sisters, Sarah Hebert of Reeves and Katelyn Hebert of Kinder; two nephews, Kamden Bishop and Gabe Thibodeaux; three nieces, Ally Klaire Joubert, Lexis and Novaliegh Thibodeaux.
Dustin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, J.C. Fontenot and MaeBelle Jenkins; and his maternal grandparents, Robert C Buck and Evelyn Buck.
