Kinder- Funeral service for Mr. Dudley Soileau, 90, will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Kinder. Rev. T.L. Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder Wednesday from 3pm-8pm and will continue Thursday at 8am until time of service.
Mr. Soileau was a resident of Kinder. He was a member of The First United Pentecostal Church and he enjoyed fishing. He was a loving husband, father, & grandfather. The love he gave to his family will be dearly missed. Mr. Soileau passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2009.
Mr. Soileau is survived by his wife of 70 years, Lucille Soileau of Kinder; two daughters, Juanita Soileau Smith & husband Buford of Kinder, Donna Soileau Newberry & husband Dale Papworth of New Orleans; one brother, Birgus Soileau of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Ken Smith, Becky Smith Simon, Lisa Newberry, & Kelly Newberry; one great grandson, Cody Duplechain; two great-great granddaughters, Harley & Hannah.
