LeBlanc-Funeral service for Douglas Fontenot, 82, will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at LeBlanc Pentecostal Church.  Rev. Alfred Gibson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at LeBlanc Pentecostal Church on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Douglas, a retired truck driver, passed away on April 14, 2022 in Channelview, Texas.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Joe Fontenot (Salena) and Mike Fontenot (Tiffany) of LeBlanc; four daughters, Debbie Barkley (Jay) of LeBlanc, Vicki Broussard (Todd) of Lake Charles, Nooney Fontenot of Eunice and Wendy Block of Oakdale; one sister, Christy Fontenot of Kingsfarm; one sister-in-law, Wanda Fontenot of Kingsfarm; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Douglas is preceded in death by his parents, Elam and Aline (Nevils) Fontenot; one brother, Wayne Fontenot; two sisters, Bonnie Bowers and Paula Louviere; grandparents, Joe and Lena Fontenot and Raoul and Minnie Johnson.
