Kinder- Funeral Mass for Mrs. Dorothy Peloquin "Mrs. Dot", 72, will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at 10a.m. at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will be in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11am-10pm with a vigil at 6p.m. and a rosary at 7p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday at 8a.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Peloquin was a resident of Kinder, member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, & Ladies Altar Society. She passed away Monday, October 15, 2007 in a Lake Charles hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Manuel & wife Rita of Baker, Danny Manuel & wife Stacy of Kinder, Phillip Manuel & wife Claudia of Livonia; two daughters, Phyllis Buxton & husband Roger of Kinder, Gala Manuel of Kinder; two sisters, Drucilla Harvey of Bridge City, TX & Caroline Savant of Kinder; 12 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Edward Peloquin; brother, Joseph Chapman; parents, Burke & Pearl Chapman; grandson, B.J. Manuel; great grandson Lane Dowden.
