Dorothy was a loving wife, mother and aunt. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Floyd, for 22 years until his death in July 1982. She loved to listen to gospel music, dancing with her husband and spending time with her family. Dorothy worked as a secretary for many years. She worked very hard to provide for her family. She was a loyal friend to all and never met a stranger. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish Dorothy's memory include one daughter, Sara Case of New Orleans; two brothers, Wiley Patrick and wife, Polly, and Dickie Patrick both of Oberlin; and two sisters, DeAndra Layman and Darlene Landry both of Lake Charles; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Hilda Patrick; husband, Floyd Case; four sisters, Frankie Romero, Gloria Maxine Patrick, Vivian Ryder, and Sandra Shuff.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Brighton Bridge Hospice, Grand Cove, and St. Frances Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
