Oakdale-Celebration of Life services honoring, Dorli Diane Simmons Robinson, 56, will be held at 1 o'clock p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Arkadelphia Baptist Church in Pitkin. Rev. Greg Willis will officiate. Dorli will be laid to rest at Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens immediately following her services.

Dorli's family will receive friends and visitors at Arkadelphia Baptist Church in Pitkin on Friday evening, April 26, 2024, from 5-7 o'clock p.m. Dorli's visitation will resume at Arkadelphia Baptist Church in Pitkin on Saturday morning, April 27, 2024, from 8 o'clock a.m. until time of service. All of Dorli's arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale.

Dorli was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish, hunt, and camp. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. Dorli loved to shop and loved shopping with her daughters. She especially loved to hear her son sing to her. Dorli will be forever missed and unconditionally loved by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish Dorli's memory include her mother, Sandra Deason of Pitkin, LA; one son, Glendon Simmons of Rosepine, LA, two daughters, Lacey Vasquez and companion Dewayne of Oberlin, LA, and Destiney Simmons and husband Maxell Burnett of Mittie, LA; four brothers, Otis, Brandon, and Lyndon Neal and Jesse Simmons; and five grandchildren, Devante Simmons, Benjamin McCartney, Nevaeh Simmons, and Noah and Lilly Burnett.

Dorli is preceded in death by her father, Gerald Neal; her first husband Maurice Simmons, her second husband, "Wormie" Robinson; and two brothers, James Neal, and Johnathan Simmons.
