Kinder- Funeral service for Donna Yvette Craiger, age 54, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home.  The service will be officiated by Rev. Alfred Gibson and Rev. Doyle Evans.  Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Kinder beginning on Friday evening from 4-9 p.m.  Visitation will resume on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Donna was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.  She was a native of Lake Charles and graduated from Lake Charles Boston High School in 1984.  Donna, affectionately known as Momma D, was everything you looked for in a person.  She showed true "agape" (God's love) and she had unbreakable morals.  She hit hard and loved even harder!  She was a rose in the concrete.  Donna's hobbies were spending time with her family, kids, grandkids, and working on diamond art.  The things she lived by was love, forgiveness, hard work, and balance.  The greatest way she can be honored is to spread her unconditional love.

Those left to cherish Donna's memory include her father, Ron Craiger of Kinder; one brother, Ron "Ronnie" Craiger, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Sulphur; one sister, Rhonda Michelle "Shelly" Lavergne and husband, Randy of Lake Charles; two sons, Casey Wayne Brown and wife, Kasey and Caleb Seth Brown, both of Lake Charles; one daughter, Cordelia "Cory" Craiger of Lake Charles; and three grandchildren, Lacey Benoit, Donte' Brown, and Amelia Brown, all of Lake Charles

Donna is preceded in death by her mother, Paula Moore Craiger; maternal grandmother, Barbara Smith; maternal grandfather, Charlie Moore; and her paternal grandparents, Doris Outlaw and Edward Eaves.
