Elton-Graveside services for Donald C. Putnam, 86, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

The family will receive visitors at Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Elton on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 5-8 p.m.

Donald was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He served in the United States Army for five years and was a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters local 106. When able, Donald enjoyed hunting. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Donald's memory include his two sons, Patrick Gear and Chad Putnam; two daughters, Natalie Westbrook and husband, Jimmy and Donna Pierce and husband, Merrick; two sisters, Monty Stoute and Nita Putman; seven grandchildren, Jason, Daniel, Alison, Meagan, Reagan, Melanie and Michael; and five great grandchildren.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Avy Putnam; and wife, Mary Putnam.
