Obituary

Elton-Funeral services will be held for Delores B. Garbarino, 87, on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 11AM at St. Paul Catholic Church of Elton. Father Marshall Boulet will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.
Visitation will begin on Monday, January 24, 2011 from 4-9PM in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton with a Rosary at 6PM. Visitation will then continue on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 8AM until time of service.
Delores was a lifelong resident of Elton and retired after 27 years as a bank teller with the former Calcasieu Marine Bank of Elton. She enjoyed gardening, reading-especially spiritual readings, and sewed for many years. She was a loving, supporting mother and grandmother. "Granny", as she was affectionately known, will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her daughters, Paula G. Batey of Wisner, LA and ReAnna Garbarino of Kinder, LA; her sister, Johnnie Mae Kratzer of Lake Charles, LA; five grandchildren, Angela Beasley and husband, Damon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Dillon Green and fiancé, Miater Haar of Washington, DC, Joshua Green and wife, Christa of Sahuarita, AZ, Rachel Wooten and husband, Scott of Minden, LA, and Jeremiah Marcantel and wife, Ashley of Elton, LA; as well as four great grandchildren, Lauren Nichole Beasley, Abri Aneece Green, and Miah and Asher Marcantel.
Delores is preceded in death by her parents, A.D. and Elia Bergeron, her husband, Paul Preston Garbarino, and her sons, James Paul Garbarino and David Gerard Garbarino.
