Kinder-Memorial services for Dennis Chester Taylor, Jr., 61, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016, in Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Cremation has been entrusted to Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder on Monday, December 12, 2016, from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Dennis was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed western books and western movies. He also enjoyed good humor. He worked at South Cameron Memorial Hospital in maintenance and as an ambulance driver. He also drove a truck for JB Hunt and traveled around the U.S. He also worked for Coushatta Casino for over eight years along with his daughter, Dori, and sister, Deanna. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish Dennis's memory include five brothers, Doyle Taylor and wife, Misty, of Grand Lake, Doug Tumer and wife, Theresa, of Virginia, Cecil Taylor of Texas, Todd Taylor of Texas, and Carl Taylor of Texas; two sisters, Deanna Tumer of Kinder and Brenda Reed of Texas; one granddaughter, Destiny Gaspard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Dennis Taylor, Sr. and Doris Dyson; and one daughter, Dori Taylor.
