Kinder-Funeral service for Dennis Clinton Cloud, 71, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the chapel of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. All arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 4-9 p.m. at Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will resume on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until time of service.
Dennis was a devoted husband to his wife of 16 years, Diane Cloud. He was also a loving father. He was retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service and currently worked as a security guard at Coushatta Casino Resort. He loved the outdoors, especially playing golf. And, he liked to play dominos. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife-Diane Virginia Cloud, of Kinder; five sons-Bryan Cloud and wife, Virginia, of Shreveport, Jason Cloud of Shreveport, Joseph Gates of Opelousas, Robert Gates and wife, Kendra, of Iowa, and Andy Sprinkle of Westlake; one daughter-Wendy Sargent of Portland, OR; one brother-Thomas Cloud and wife, Gail, of McQueeney, TX; his former wife and mother of his children-Patricia Ann Cloud of Pollock; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents-Boyd and Mary Cloud; one brother-Bruce Cloud; and one sister-Celyta Darlene Prince.
