Oberlin-Graveside service for Dennis Chapman, 66, will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 am at Oaklin Springs Cemetery.   Rev. Fr. Clyde Thomas will officiate.  Cremation and all arrangements have been entrusted to Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Homes.

Dennis was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a lifelong resident of Oberlin and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church where he attended mass regularly. He was a devout Catholic and was very proud and devoted to his faith. He made his career in education as a teacher. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish Dennis's memory include his mother, Dorothy Chapman of Oberlin; his brother, Charles "Steve" Chapman and wife, Jo-Ann of Oberlin; and several nieces and nephews.

Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Chapman.
