Basile- Funeral service for Delbert Dale Ashford, 55, will be held Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Ardoin Funeral Home of Elton. Deacon John Eaves will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery in Basile.
Visitation will be held Saturday at 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
Delbert was a lifelong resident of Basile. He owned and operated Basile Flower Shop for 30 years. He passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2009.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William & Zula Ashford and he leaves behind many friends.
