Debbie's family will receive visitors on Saturday morning in the chapel of Ardoin/Allen Parish Funeral Home of Oakdale from 10 o'clock a.m. until the time of service.

Debbie was born on January 8,1956, in Ville Platte, Louisiana.  She is the first granddaughter of Dorcelie Ceasar and Alice Gradney Ceasar; her parents, Joseph Rush Ceasar and Roberta Kimble Ceasar; sister, Alice Faye Ceazer-Campbell; sister, Josephina Ceasar Rodriquez; bonus sister, Jacqueline Zavala; and bonus sister, Patricia Schuster.  Debbie will always be a beloved daughter, partner, friend, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Growing up Debbie attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oakdale, Louisiana.  She was a graduate of Oakdale High School where she participated in many activities including sports and choir. She eventually moved to Houston, Texas where Debbie pursued a fulfilling career in nursing.  Her compassionate nature and dedication to helping others left an indelible mark.  Beyond her professional life, Debbie's true passion lay in nurturing her family. She found great joy in cooking for her loved ones and creating meals that were as comforting as her presence.  She also loved crocheting, dancing (especially zydeco and music from Elvis Presley), gardening, and filling her home with beauty and love. Debbie's sense of style and grace was unmatched. She adored beautiful clothes and perfumes, always presenting herself with elegance. She was a private person who valued peace and avoided drama; however, her home was a haven of laughter and joy. She loved to spoil the people around her, bringing happiness in countless small and meaningful ways.  Debbie shared a special bond with her sister, Alice Faye, whom she affectionately called Sissy, and together they laughed and cherished the simplest pleasures in life. Her sense of humor and laughter was contagious, and her spirit lit up every room she entered.

Debbie is survived by her two sons, Timothy Captain, Jr. and Ronald Captain; grandmother to Alexis, Autumn, Austin, Trey, Kaydence, Cameron, Ronald Jr. (RJ) and Jason; great-grandmother to Reina, Brandon, and Jrue; aunt to Fuad, Matthew and Nia; devoted partner and fiancé, J.B. Dyer; and "daughters she never had", Kristine and Cheryl; bonus son, Casey; as well as a host of family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.

Debbie Ann Ceazear will be remembered for her love, her kindness, and her unwavering dedication to her family. She has left a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and comfort those she touched.
